Strawbery Jam


  • 1½ kg of ripe strawberries
    450 gr white sugar, crystalline
    lemon juice

Method of Implementation

  1. Wash the strawberries in plenty of cold water, with a knife or with our hands, remove their leaves and toss in a large bowl.
  2. Add the sugar and half the lemon juice, mix well and leave for 2-3 hours, until the strawberries have come out.
  3. Then pour the mixture into a deep saucepan and heat over low heat, stirring with a wooden spoon for about 5 minutes, until the sugar has melted. Strengthen the fire (from low to medium) and continue stirring (we do not remove because the sweet may swell and spill).
  4. With a colander, remove the foams. Boil for about 10-15 minutes, until the syrup is slightly softened but does not completely coat, as it will then boil extra with the tangerine.
  5. Pour remaining lemon juice and remove from heat.
